What's the difference in rubber/metal pin backs and locking pin backs?
The rubber backings are standard backs that hold the pins on securely with comfort in mind, but the locking backs are an extra secure method of ensuring your pins don't fall off.
The locking backs require a very tight squeeze to remove, whereas the rubber backs will pull off of the pin with some tugging. The locking ones are mostly suggested for active environments or daily wear on a bag or jacket. Think of them as "pinsurance" for your pins.
What's the difference between "iron on" and "hook and loop" patches?
Iron on patches can be ironed onto fabrics by using an iron to melt the pre-applied glue on the back of the patch. The glue is solid and not sticky prior to heating, so there is no mess!
Hook and loop patches have a black "hook" fastener attached to the back of the patch. This material is compatible with all brands of hook and loop fasteners and also adheres to car ceilings, wool, and fleece.
Our hook and loop patches also come with a free matching "loop" fastener which can be sewn onto garments if desired.
